Good Morning!
Many
times you'll hear me talk about using our intuition to its fullest, and
how important it is to be in the moment; to feel and listen to what your
body and heart want and need.
This week, I have
created Ten Simple Ways to Strengthen Your Intuition. I challenge
you to try at least three new ways to discover your inner spirit.
1) Learn how to meditate.
2) Listen to music that
moves you and notice where you feel connected in your body.
3) Pay attention to how your intuition communicates with you: through
pictures, hearing words, feeling sensations.
4) When you get an inkling—stop—don't
ignore it. Take a moment to pay attention to what your intuition is
telling you.
5) Practice journaling and/or writing.
6) Try a yoga class.
7) Take a nature walk and allow yourself to absorb your surroundings.
8) Enjoy activities that involve creativity (after all intuition comes
from the Creator, right?). Creativity cultivates spirituality.
9) Turn the volume down on the external stimuli in your life (turn off the TV,
drive with your radio off, eliminate clutter from your physical
surroundings).
10) Practice the art of gratitude and appreciation everyday.
Have an
intuitive
week,

Quote of the Week:
"True
power is trusting your inklings and then having the courage to act on them."
--
Carole L. Billingham
Question:
How well do you listen to your
inklings? Better yet do you have the courage to trust and act on them? What
might happen if you did?
Affirmation:
"Every day I find it easier to listen to and trust my
intuition. As I do, I find things become more effortless."

Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to
Promote Peace - One School at a Time (Paperback)
by Greg
Mortenson (Author), David Oliver Relin (Author)
In 1993, author Mortenson's failed
attempt to climb K2, the world's second tallest mountain became his
catalyst for writing this book. After becoming dangerously ill, he was
sheltered for seven weeks by the small Pakistani village of Korphe. In
return, he promised to build the impoverished town's first school. The
book is full of fascinating detail, and compelling characters Mortenson
found in the village elders, con artists, philanthropists, mujahideen,
Taliban officials, ambitious school girls, and upright Muslims. The book
will win many reader's hearts with its captivating and suspenseful
accounts of both hostilities and unlikely friendships.
