Good Morning!
This is one of my
favorite weeks of the year. The 15th is the end of tax
season (remember, my husband is a CPA) and my birthday is the
following day. I will be taking lots of time this week to reconnect
with my wonderful husband and to celebrate another year of my
existence. This year I turn 45. It’s hard for me to fathom how
quickly time seems to fly. I suppose all I have to do is look at my
7-year-old daughter and see how fast she is growing up and I am
reminded of the importance of appreciating the precious little
moments that make up the memories of our lives.
This week as I
focus my energies on reconnecting and celebrating, I invite you to
do the same. Take a moment to think about what you most appreciate
in your life. Now open your heart, breathe in and give thanks.
Allow the fullness of your gratitude to seep in to all of your
being. Like an elixir, let it relax and soften you. From this place
of comfort and fullness, how can you celebrate something special
this week? It need not be something large, just something that you
would like to acknowledge as a blessing in your life. Notice that
in this moment, just by thinking of your blessings you are filled
with an even greater sense of gratitude. Take this gratitude into
your week and celebrate! You deserve it!
